Bilgehan Tuncer
Originally from Ankara, Turkiye, Bilgehan Tuncer has been playing the guitar for over 35 years. He holds a B.M. in Guitar Performance from the world's most prestigious music college, Berklee College of Music. As a versatile session player, he has performed and recorded with plenty of today's top acts in styles including classical, jazz, blues, rock, metal, country, folk and pop.
He started his formal training by studying with the renowned classical guitarist Ahmet Kanneci for six years. During this time, he has performed numerous solo and duo recitals, most notably with Emre Sabuncuoglu.The famous shred guitar player Michael Angelo Batio selected him as the best player in 1997, and he won the Z.M.M. & Washburn Guitar Inc. National Guitar Competition in Turkey.

Since then, he has played and recorded with hundreds of professional artists. In 2001, he toured with the famed Turkish singer Tarkan after playing on his album "Karma." In 2007, he played the guitars for the "David: The Rock Musical" at Calderwood Pavilion in Boston. He's also recorded or performed with numerous artists, bands, and producers. Some notable ones are Ozlem Tekin, Umit Sayin, Gulhan, Murat Boz, Ozan Colakoglu, Pinar Toprak, Grammy winner Esperanza Spalding, William Topley, Stringtheory, Madison Rising, Scott Damgaard, Sarah Fimm, Ozan Erkal, Mehmet Ali Sanlikol.
He has recorded guitars on soundtracks for movies and TV series for streaming companies such as Netflix and Amazon Prime and several TV commercials for major companies and products like Citibank and Trident.
Since 2010, Bilgehan Tuncer moved to New York City/ New Jersey, area where he teaches and plays regularly.
